Dr. Julie C. Delaney has 33 years of experience in Catholic schools as both a teacher and administrator.  Dr. Delaney is in her tenth year as a Catholic school administrator, currently serving as the principal of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School in Davenport, Iowa (2008-present).  In 2011, St. Paul the Apostle was awarded the National Blue Ribbon School Award by the United States Department of Education.  St. Paul’s enrollment and programs have grown resulting in a building expansion project with plans to include a new fine arts wing, additional classrooms, and breakout spaces.

Dr. Delaney earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 1983 in Elementary Education.  In 2006 she earned her master’s degree from Western Illinois University in Educational Leadership, and in 2016 her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska in Educational Leadership and Higher Education.  Dr. Delaney’s research focused on turnaround school leadership.
